A poem I wrote called - light in the dark. By Monique winters

In the mirror’s gaze, a spark ignites,

A tender heart in the softest light,

With every flaw, a story sings,

In the dance of life, our essence clings.

Embrace the shadows, the colors and hues,

Each difference blooms in a world of views,

For every dream that whispers at night,

Is a step towards dawn, a chance to take flight.

So hold your heart with gentle grace,

And chase your purpose, find your place,

In the tapestry woven by hands so true,

Loving yourself is how you break through.
